The University Research and Sponsored Programs provides leadership in setting the
research agenda facilitating research and sponsored program activities, and supporting
technology transfer efforts of The University of Toledo. Externally funded research
is rewarding to both the researcher and the University community. Through investigation
of problems and the establishment of programs, research offers an opportunity to address
areas critical to state and local interests. These activities can generate new knowledge,
new products, or new processes that impact the well-being of all citizens. Research
also serves to enhance the learning process for both faculty and students.
RSP offers assistance to obtain external funding for research and special projects.
